Off The Leash Press, LLC is a small, independent publisher based in Winter Park, FL. Our focus is on publishing non-fiction books about pets, animals, and other wildlife.

As the business continues to grow, we have begun and will continue to publish non-fiction, and will consider poetry, fiction, and children’s books as long as it meets our quality guidelines and we believe we can provide an outstanding finished product for the author.

We also provide coaching services to authors or would-be authors who are interested in publishing their own books but don’t know how or where to begin.

We continue to be dedicated to producing high-quality books that help promote the well-being of all mankind, animals, and other wildlife. We want to raise awareness of the special connection that exists between all living things. As Ghandi said, “The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” This is a philosophy we live by.

As a small publisher, we will work closely with you every step of the way to realize your vision for your published book. You retain creative control and the copyright to your book, while we provide a professional, finished product. You’ll have input on all aspects of your book, from cover design to interior layout. Our goal is for you to have the book you have always dreamed of.

Publisher Sherri Cappabianca began Off The Leash Press in 2009, while writing her first book “Healthy Dogs, Your Loving Touch.” After 25 years as a software engineer, she began working with dogs in 2005, focusing on their health and well-being. Her books are a result of that passion and work that continues today.
