Working with a small publisher is an ideal way to get the personal attention that you and your book deserve. We only work with a select number of authors each year, and most often, only one at a time.

We spend the time with you that you need to ensure your finished book is all you ever dreamed it would be. The books we published fall into the niche of works about pets, animals, and other wildlife. Most of our titles are non-fiction, but we will also occasionally publish works of poetry, fiction, and children’s books when it meets our quality guidelines and we believe we can provide an outstanding finished product for the author. 

Our publishing services include proofreading and copyediting (if necessary), assistance with cover design, interior design, and layout, title change suggestions if necessary, assisting with the back cover marketing piece and author bio, providing the ISBN, barcode, and LCCN, and assisting with pricing. Once we are both satisfied with the finished product, we will publish your book and set it up for global distribution. Finally, we will issue a press release on your finished book.

We do not offer publishing package pricing, because each book, project, and situation is unique, and we treat them as such. After we look at your manuscript, we will give you a detailed proposal of what we believe you need to end up with a polished book you’ll be proud of.

Before we agree to publish your book, we want to have a conversation with you to make sure we are a good fit for one another. In our opinion, life is too short to work with people we don’t connect with. It most likely won’t be a good experience for either of us and we don’t want that for either of us!

We also will want to look at your manuscript to determine the quality of work. If a manuscript needs substantial or developmental editing, we will suggest that you work with a professional editor to refine or rewrite your book and contact us again.

We are happy to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement with respect to your proprietary work.

A publishing coach will save you time, money, and frustration as you work to publish your book. Often a publishing coach will save you more money than you will spend.

What we are not: we are not book writing coaches who help you through the writing process. We do not help you write your book, develop characters or story lines, help you say things in a better or different way, or help you complete your manuscript. Instead, we specialize in helping you learn what’s necessary for you to publish your completed book. If you need help writing your book, we can refer you to others who can help you.
